The breakfast meeting fostered exchange on best practices to align patent law and examination practices with policies on promoting innovation and access to medical technologies, and discussed opportunities for leveraging South-South cooperation. In addition, the side event showcased the South Centre activities since 2018 to support developing countries in this regard.
